Frozen C-dubb Style by CdubbArt Frozen C-dubb Style by CdubbArt
In honor of this crazy, long, and cold winter we're having, here's my rendition of the cast from Disney's Frozen. The composition was inspired by J. Scott Campbell's cover art for the "Fall of the Hulks" books. I may do more Frozen art in the future, maybe some solos of Elsa doin her... snowy... thing, lol.

And also, don't forget that my SUMMONS ART CONTEST IS NOW BEING HELD! Check my journal link for details. I'm offering CASH prizes, ppl. CASH PRIZES, I TELL YOU! Check out what I'm offering, and tell a friend, won't you? :D Thanks for watchin'!

As much as I think Campbell's style is overly sexy I have always admired his super clean, neat lines and tight style. I think in this piece you've found a good balance with it clearly being your style of art but having enough nods that the homage is clear.

I love how you draw the girls with strong lines and active poses (Way too often in comic book covers the females are passive players). Also this sounds weird but I like that you drew their cleavage in such a way that, while it is there, it's not right in front screaming "THEY HAVE BOOBS!"

The way you made Kristoff look is great--too often in pieces I've seen everyone else drawn really cool and he looks like a grinning buffoon. Smirky Hans is a lovely villainous addition, Sven's expression is great and I love Olaf in the corner. Finally using Marshmallow as your background really just ties it all together. Also coupled with Elsa's pose it really looks like she's a mage from a video game and he's her special attack summons.

All in all a great piece! A further exploration of your gallery is in store!

That's cool though Elsa's left arm looks a little small.
